Warranty
FOUNTJOY products are backed by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or accidents
- Damage resulting from failure to follow care and storage instructions
- Normal wear and tear
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
To submit a warranty claim, contact us at service@fountjoylife.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
If the item is confirmed defective or damaged due to manufacturing issues, FOUNTJOY will cover the cost of replacement shipping at no charge to you.
Care & Maintenance
Seasonal Storage: Winter & Extended Non-Use
Weather resistance does not mean frost protection. Prepare your fountain for storage before freezing temperatures arrive or during extended periods of non-use:

| 1. Disconnect | Unplug the fountain before draining, cleaning, or moving it. |
| 2. Drain | Empty all water from the fountain and pump, including water trapped in bowls, reservoirs, and tubing. |
| 3. Clean & Dry | Clean the fountain and pump, then allow both to dry fully before storage. |
| 4. Store Frost-Free | Store both the fountain and pump in a dry location that stays above freezing. A garage or shed is suitable only if it remains frost-free. |
| 5. Cover Limits | A cover can help keep out debris, but does not replace complete draining or frost-free storage and does not prevent freezing damage. |
Routine Care

| Pump Cleaning | Clean the pump filter every 2–4 weeks to prevent debris buildup and maintain quiet operation. Use a soft brush to gently remove algae or mineral deposits from the intake. |
| Pump Operation | If the pump becomes noisy, check for air bubbles or debris, submerge fully, and clear blockages. Do not run the pump dry; always ensure it is fully submerged when operating. |
| Pump Storage | Remove the pump, rinse thoroughly, and store in a dry place. Follow the frost-free storage steps above. |
| LED Lights | LED lights are designed for long-term use and require minimal maintenance. Wipe the housing with a soft, damp cloth to remove algae or mineral buildup. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. If an LED stops working, contact service@fountjoylife.com; do not attempt to disassemble. |
| Basin Cleaning | Clean the basin every 4–6 weeks with mild soap and a soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly to remove soap residue before refilling. |
| Water Care | Use distilled or filtered water to minimize mineral deposits and white scale buildup. Add a fountain enzyme treatment to keep water clear and reduce algae growth. |
