Warranty

FOUNTJOY products are backed by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or accidents
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow care and storage instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers

To submit a warranty claim, contact us at support@fountjoylife.com with your order number and photos of the issue.

If the item is confirmed defective or damaged due to manufacturing issues, FOUNTJOY will cover the cost of replacement shipping at no charge to you.

Care & Maintenance

🌿 Seasonal Storage (Winter & Extended Non-Use)

Proper storage is essential to protect your fountain's resin material from cracking:

  1. Winterizing Your Fountain — Before freezing temperatures arrive, completely drain all water from the fountain and pump. Move the fountain indoors or to a covered area if possible, or cover it with a weatherproof fountain cover. Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location.
  2. Move indoors if possible — Store in a garage, shed, or covered area during freezing temperatures.
  3. If leaving outdoors — Cover with a weatherproof fountain cover to protect from frost and debris.
  4. Avoid direct sunlight during storage — Prolonged UV exposure when dry can accelerate resin degradation.

💧 Water Pump Care

  • Clean the pump filter every 2–4 weeks to prevent debris buildup and maintain quiet operation.
  • Use a soft brush to gently remove algae or mineral deposits from the pump intake.
  • If the pump becomes noisy, check for air bubbles or debris — submerge fully and clear any blockages.
  • During storage, remove the pump, rinse thoroughly, and store in a dry place.
  • Do not run the pump dry — always ensure it is fully submerged when operating.

💡 LED Light Care

  • LED lights are designed for long-term use and require minimal maintenance.
  • Wipe the LED housing with a soft, damp cloth periodically to remove algae or mineral buildup.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners near the LED components.
  • If an LED stops working, contact us at support@fountjoylife.com — do not attempt to disassemble.

🧼 General Cleaning

  • Clean the fountain basin every 4–6 weeks with a mild soap solution and soft cloth.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue before refilling.
  • Use distilled or filtered water to minimize mineral deposits and white scale buildup.
  • Add a fountain enzyme treatment to keep water clear and reduce algae growth.
